The await

Illustration for my personal book project "Ordera". It tells a story of two worlds in one realm- Ordera and Nezca - who both need heroes to survive but cannot live as one.

There is a poem for this piece, who tells a tale of Maetrona Nightheart and Roshi - the master sentini of Nezca and the blue-eyed shawan prince;

"There was no one who desired so,
no one who dreamed of so many worlds,
than I; the one with a gaze as the living night, the deepest cold.
These eyes could still see and this beating heart would still have a core,
without you; bringer of Light, the thorn of my vexed days and nights.
Sit tight and keep those tears hidden as long as you may,
for you shall know pain like you have never felt before.
There is no one who knows hate as I do;
no one who remembers like I do,
nobody awaits in the darkness,
and longs for the Sun
like I do. "
